Refund policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
At Aussie Iconic, we take care to ensure that all orders are accurately prepared and products are delivered in the condition described on our website.
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Returns are limited to products that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, subject to the conditions below.
Major Defects
Items with major defects, including but not limited to rips, significant damage, or products that materially differ from their listing, may be eligible for a return where the defect is reasonably proven to have existed at the point of delivery.
Examples may include:
- Significant rips or tears
- Major damage
- A product materially different from the description or images provided in the listing
- A product that is substantially different from what was advertised
Customers should avoid wearing, washing, altering or damaging an item once an issue has been identified.
Where a major failure is established, Aussie Iconic may offer a refund or replacement, as applicable under the Australian Consumer Law.
Minor Defects
Items received with minor defects may be eligible for a return where the customer can reasonably demonstrate that the defect existed at or immediately following delivery.
Customers should avoid wearing, washing, altering or damaging an item once an issue has been identified.
Depending on the nature and severity of the defect, Aussie Iconic may offer a replacement, repair, reimbursement for reasonable repair costs, refund or store credit, as appropriate to the circumstances and subject to the customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Examples of minor defects may include:
- Minor stitching imperfections
- Small cosmetic defects
- Minor printing or manufacturing imperfections
The remedy offered will depend on the nature and extent of the defect.
Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that does not match your order, such as the wrong size, colour or product, you may be eligible for a return where it can be reasonably proven that the incorrect item was supplied at delivery.
Customers should avoid wearing, washing, altering or damaging an item once an issue has been identified.
Where an incorrect item has been supplied, Aussie Iconic may offer a replacement or refund, as applicable and subject to the customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Evidence of Defects or Incorrect Items
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.
Where a customer claims that an item was defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is expected to provide reasonable evidence demonstrating, where possible, that the issue existed at or within 24 hours following delivery.
Evidence may include, but is not limited to:
- Photographs or video taken immediately upon receiving or opening the order;
- Photographs or video containing reliable metadata or timestamps;
- A report made to Aussie Iconic within 24 hours of delivery accompanied by clear photographic or video evidence;
- Other reliable evidence capable of reasonably establishing the condition of the product during the 24-hour period following delivery.
Where possible, customers should photograph or record the product before wearing, washing, altering or otherwise using it.
Customers should retain the original packaging until their claim has been assessed, particularly where the packaging may assist in establishing whether damage occurred during delivery.
Insufficient Evidence
Where the evidence provided does not reasonably establish that the defect, damage or incorrect item existed at or within 24 hours following delivery, Aussie Iconic may take the available evidence into consideration when determining the appropriate remedy.
Where insufficient evidence is available to establish the condition of the item at or following delivery, Aussie Iconic may determine that a full refund, replacement or other remedy is not warranted, subject to any rights the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
The passage of time, use of the product, washing, alteration or damage occurring after delivery may also be considered when assessing a claim.
Return Assessment
All returns must be approved by Aussie Iconic before an item is sent back.
Where a return is approved, Aussie Iconic will provide the customer with instructions regarding the return.
Returned products may be inspected to verify the reported defect, damage or discrepancy before a final refund, replacement or other remedy is provided.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a provision of this policy conflicts with a customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will apply.
